About Us
Welcome to Short Motors
Over 45 years of quality auto service in Takanini — professional, friendly, and fully guaranteed.
Short Motors was established in 1975 when Eric Short purchased a suspension and wheel alignment shop in Takanini. The business grew over the years, expanding its services to include diagnostic tuning, warrant of fitness, general repairs, LPG installations, and dyno tuning.
Today, our team are your local automotive repair and servicing specialists in Takanini, South Auckland. We take pride in offering a professional and friendly service, maintaining long-lasting relationships with our customers built on over 40 years of experience in the trade.
We provide full mechanical repairs and servicing to all makes and models — petrol, diesel or LPG — from family cars to fleet vehicles. No job is too big or too small. If you have a breakdown, give us a call and we can arrange for your car to be brought to our workshop.
